SCIPAC aims to bring together the community of French laboratories working on particle accelerators to support research in response to major projects, both current and future. The main objectives of the GDR are to lead scientific discussion at the national level to promote research activity, to unite and structure the community, and finally to foster the emergence of cross-disciplinary initiatives. Particular attention is paid to promoting the research activities of young people in the community, as well as to strengthening the attractiveness of the discipline for future generations.

The GDR is structured around four thematic areas reflecting the discipline’s priority areas:

1. Heavy Ion Acceleration

2. Hadron Acceleration

3. Lepton Acceleration

4. Laser Plasma Acceleration and New Concepts

The management team is composed of:

Director: Maud Baylac
